The YWCA Hanover is offering the following job positions:

Counselor for Camp Phoenix: YWCA Hanover is hiring college students to work as a Counselor for ten weeks (June 12 to August 18th), Monday through Friday, with campers 6 to12 years of age. Counselors are responsible for planning and implementing activities for “Passport to Adventure”, participating in all field trips and providing supervision at all swimming activities.

Qualified candidates need a minimum of two years of experience working with children, and meet DHS/STARS requirements including Water Safety training (WST). WST will be provided at the YWCA Hanover prior to the start of Camp Phoenix.

Preschool Teacher: Qualified candidates must have at minimum of two years experience working with children, an Associate’s degree in Early Childhood Education, Elementary Education or a related field with education credits required. A Bachelor’s Degree in Early Childhood or Child Development preferred and experience working with young children in a group setting. All candidates must meet DHS/STARS requirements.
