Safe Home Background (Hogar
Seguro)
|
The Safe Home Program of the YWCA of Hanover has been serving domestic violence victims of York and Adams Counties since 1981. The staff and volunteers provide an array of services to domestic violence victims. One of the most critical objectives is connecting Safe Home clients to services needed to improve their quality of life. We make referrals and advocate with a variety of agencies, assisting with health, finances, housing, drug/alcohol treatment, support groups, children's services, employment/training, food, furniture, clothing, and more. At our agency, we provide Safe Home clients with needed items, including dead bolts, peep holes, and emergency cell phones. With advance notice, we may provide our clients with free childcare if it is needed during a court hearing or legal appointment. Everyone deserves a Safe Home. Cada persona merece un Hogar Seguro. |
